The annual meeting was held March 25th, 2009 was a successful year for new people volunteering to help out with activities but we still need some more people to come forward. If you are interested in helping out please contact any of the executives. Your association needs you. Please consider how you can help in 2009. It’s a great opportunity to meet people and help out in your community. Contact information is available on the website.
Many thanks to Alison Sawatsky who has stepped down as Treasurer. Alison did a great job managing our finances for past several years. We welcome Suk Bedi as our new Treasurer. Suk is keen to take the reigns and I am sure that our finances will be in capable hands with him.
On the subject of money, 2009 fees will be the same as 2008.
I hope that you enjoyed the permanent shaded area which was built at the pool last year. I have received a lot of positive feedback on it. No major projects are planned for the grounds this year.

We are planning on offering activities very similar to last year. We will also plan on having an adult party later in the summer. If you have any suggestions please let us know. We will be putting a suggestion box on the website. Hope everyone has a great summer and takes advantage of all the facilities have to offer for kids, teenagers and adults.
