Pool Rules

1. Children who are 7 years of age or younger MUST be accompanied by an adult while on the UBII Property.

2. Children must be able to swim one length of the pool before being allowed in the deep end.

3. Guests must be introduced to the lifeguards on arrival to the pool. Members are responsible for the behaviour of their guests.

4. Please shower before entering the pool.

5. No dogs, bikes, skateboards, rollerblades, etc. are allowed in the pool area.

6. Squirt guns are not allowed in the pool area.

7. Diving is only allowed during lessons.

8. Toys, balls, and flutterboards are allowed if used safely in the pool.

9. No roughhousing.

10. Food and drink must be confined to grassy areas only. Keep in mind this is a nut free area.

11. Children under 41" and children wearing ANY TYPE of floatation device MUST BE WITHIN ARMS REACH OF A PARENT IN THE WATER.

12. When the air temperature drops below 18°C, the pool will be closed to swimmers. (this does not apply to swimming lessons).

13. Children who are not potty trained are REQUIRED to wear plastic pants under their suits, or suits with tight fitting legs while in the pool.

14. Children should not be in the guard office unless they need assistance from a lifeguard.

15. No foul language.

16. Rafts are allowed only when there are fewer than 10 people in the pool, and only with the guard's permission.

17. Items left in the lost and found for longer than 2 weeks will be given to charity.
