We will have 3 one hour sessions based on age from July 1st to August 15th between 1:15 - 4:15 pm. Tennis fees will be the same as last year.
More details on the available lessons will be posted at the Pool once we have everything arranged.
RulesThe following "Good Sense" Tennis Rules will help optimize the sharing of our courts by tennis players of our neighbourhood. 1. Proper tennis attire must be worn at all times. NO FLIP FLOPS or SANDALS -- Tennis shoes only please. 2. Court reservations are limited to one hour per day per family. (If juniors find this a problem, it is suggested they use vacant courts during non-peak hours.) 3. Adults (18 years and over) may sign up anytime subject to rule # 2. Juniors may not sign up a time slot that carries their play later than 7:00 p.m. on Monday to Friday (inclusive). 4. You may sign up for "today" and for "tomorrow" only -- no further. 5. If you can not use your reservation, please erase it immediately so that someone else can use it. Those who arrive 10 minutes late forfeit their reservation. 6. Anyone who is "signed up" may bump anyone who is not "signed up" subject to rule number 2 and number 3. 7. Two households may not get together in booking more than one hour of continual play. They may, of course continue play if the court is not booked. 8. Do not sign up for any time slot with a fixed booking (e.g. lessons). It is your responsibility to make sure your reservation does not conflict with fixed bookings. 9. Although guests are welcome within reason, we are all encouraged to arrange games with other Upper Beechwood II members as partners and opponents. This maximizes court usage by our members. Guests are only allowed to play with a member. Otherwise they will be treated like any other nonmember and will be asked to leave. 10. It is imperative the gate is locked when play is finished. Vandalism has been a major and expensive problem. Note: Piracy by non-members continues to be a concern to all Associations in the area. It greatly reduces court availability to members. If you do not recognize a player, please ask them their name and address in Upper Beechwood II. (Pirates usually can not come up with this quickly.) If someone asks you to identify yourself, please do not be offended. It is all in the good cause of court availability. This will help discourage court piracy. Keys: Tennis court keys have changed from last year. If you want a new key, they are available at the guard office at a cost of $2.50 each. |
